Mattox has over 10 years of experience in the energy industry including over 7 years in the wind industry.
Before joining Third Pillar, Mattox worked at Vestas North America leading its Strategic Projects initiative where he was responsible for approximately 5GW of orders and awards. Prior to that, he led the Market Intelligence team at Vestas and also worked as a Geologist in the environmental consulting industry.
Mattox holds MBA and Master’s of Environmental Management degrees from Duke University. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and American History from Vanderbilt University. Outside of Third Pillar, Mattox enjoys biking, skiing, cooking, reading and spending time with his family.
