Jason brings over 7 years of experience to Third Pillar Solar as a power systems engineer and grid interconnection specialist based in Portland, Oregon.
Prior to Third Pillar Solar at E3 Consulting, Jason worked on over a total of 2.9 GW and 6.92 GWh of energy storage projects, valued at over $2.76 billion, providing essential feedback to ensure system performance and feasibility. Jason also helped clients navigate complex interconnection processes across multiple ISO’s and RTO’s such as ERCOT, MISO, PJM, and CAISO.
At Arizona Public Service (APS), Jason conducted technical evaluations of grid technologies, developed power-flow models, and validated SCADA designs for transmission and distribution projects. His background in Transmission & Distribution and integrating novel grid technologies offers valuable insights and expertise to Third Pillar Solar.
Jason holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, with a concentration in Power Systems, from Arizona State University.
