Jared has been developing and managing distributed energy projects for over four years. Before joining Third Pillar, Jared worked with SunVest to develop community solar and behind-the-meter projects and with National Renewables Cooperative Organization to provide energy advisory and project development services for electric cooperatives. Jared holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Sustainability from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.
Jared enjoys the intersection of industry and nature, which led him to the solar industry where he can leverage innovative technologies to strengthen the natural and built environment. At Third Pillar, Jared is most excited to identify and repurpose underutilized waterbodies and brownfields for solar projects that will directly benefit the communities in which they are constructed.
Outside of Third Pillar, Jared enjoys spending time on the water and in the snow. He is currently working on developing his fly-fishing skills in the warmer months and teaching his son to ski in the winter.
